Volvo S60 with pedestrian detection
Volvo has deployed his novel system based on a radar and a camera. The commercial, at least, make it worth. I didn't see any test on this:

- I've started to get interested in Visualization Technologies, in graduation, when I got a scholarship to a Computer Graphic project and a CG's summer school in IMPA (http://www.impa.br/opencms/en/). After only studying computer graphics, I saw my interestings narrowing down to Computer Vision on my Master Degree, when I developed a computer vision system to robot soccer. Now, I am taking my PhD and again, working with vision and sensor fusion applied to Cybercars and I am really enjoying it...
