Open submission conferences

Recently, I've heard that there is a new format of conference that you can choose between two formats of revision process: the regular one and open submission! The latter one seems to bring up a new concept, where the reviewers are known and the reviewer feedback is attached to the final accepted paper at the time of publishing it in the proceedings! At the end, we end up knowing that the blindness model is not that perfect!

Everyone making part of the academic community is somewhat aware about the revision process and the possible flawless of this process. Judgment is always a hard day task and when it is done without consciousness can lead to injustices in Science! In the openness of the reviewing process, we are also able to judge who judges and turn it a democratic framework, where everyone should be aware of their role in the process, avoiding (or trying to avoid) the little trick and game of the publication statistics without substance!

I would like to congratulate the organizers of the AVSS conference ! I wish that all other conferences should follow this new concept!
