Open position at Institute of Systems and Robotics

We are looking for an outstanding student, graduated in Computer Science or related, to work in 6-month project (renewable) to run computer vision algorithms in a PlayStation3. The project will run in ISR, Coimbra, Portugal. The following skills are required:

• Programming in C/C++
• Computer architecture
• Distributed systems
• Computer vision (not required, but an added value)
• English (at least, good reading)
• High undergraduated score (encouraging to take a PhD in our Institute)
  

The goal of this project is to use PS3 for running Computer Vision algorithms, like:

- 3D reconstruction from monocular cameras

- Moving camera / moving object segmentation

- Tracking as detection

- Pattern recognition

- Scene analysis
